Actions & Indications: 主治﹕ | For edema, ascites, retention of phlegm, tuberculosis of lymph nodes. Can be taken internally or applied externally. 治水腫，水臌，痰飲，瘰疬，癰疽腫毒。 1,瀉水逐飲：主治水腫脹滿，二便不通，形証俱實者。也可用於痰飲積聚，胸膈脹滿，脅肋隱痛。 2,消腫散結：可用於癰腫瘡毒及痰火瘰癘， 內服。 本品瀉水之力較大，用於水腫、腹脹、腹水、胸水。消腫解毒 用於癰瘡腫毒，可外敷內服。 |
Chemical ingredients: 化學成份﹕ | Root contains triterpene, alkaloids, free anthraquinone, euphobon, euphobia A, B, C. Also contain rubber, resin, 4 types of anthraquinone, and 2 kinds of organic acid: syringic acid and another organic acid whose chemical formula has not been determined. Knoxia valerianoides contains ursolic acid and β-Sitosterol. 主要成分：新鮮葉含維生素C。根含三萜、生物鹼、游離蒽醌類及給合性蒽醌類，大戟甙 ，大戟色素體A,B,C等。另含樹膠、樹脂，含4種蒽 醌化合物為3 -羥基巴戟醌；1，3，5，6-四羥基-2-甲基蒽醌、虎刺醛、甲基異茜草素及1，3，5-三羥基-2-甲基-6-甲氧基蒽醌(紅 大戟素)；尚有2種有機酸：丁香酸和另一結構未定的有機酸。 紅芽大戟屬含熊果酸(Ursolic acid)(1)，麥胚固醇(β-Sitosterol)。 |
Dosage: 用 量﹕ | Internal use: 1.5 to 3 g in decoction. 1 g per time in powder form. External use: use appropriate amount. Wash affected area with decoction. 1.5－3g。散劑每次1g。外用適量，煎水熏洗。 |
