Actions & Indications:

主治﹕

For vomite promoting and for treatment of phlegm heat obstructing the lungs.

催吐剤與用於痰熱壅肺証。

Chemical ingredients:

化學成份﹕

miscellaneous sterol, saponin, amino acid, cucurbitacin B, D, E, isocucurbitacin B, cucurbitacin B-2-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, α-spinasterol etc.

瓜蒂含雜醇,皂甙,氨基酸,葫蘆苦素B、D、E,異葫蘆苦素B,葫蘆苦素B-2-O-β-D-吡喃葡萄糖甙, α-菠菜甾醇

Daly Dosage:

每日用量﹕

To take orally: 3 to 5 in decoction, or in pills or powder.

For external use: appropriate amount.

內服:煎湯3∼5g,或入丸、散。外用:適量。

Samples of formulae:

處方舉例﹕

To induce vomiting: li lu, gua di, fang feng make into fine powder.

Use a small amount. Take with warm drinking water.

Caution: normal dosage is 0.3 g to 0.9 g.

催吐:藜蘆,瓜蒂防風,作细末。用少量。温開水送服。

注意:一般用量為 0.3 至0.9克。

毒素與禁忌﹕

Not to use on little children,  old people, weak people or patients with heart diseases or patients with blood loss.

小兒年老體弱,或失血, 心臟病患者忌用。
