ren shen bai du san 人參敗毒散

ren shen bai du san (Source: Tai Ping Hui Min He Ji Ju Fang)

Uses:

(1) influenza with chill and fever and no sweat, pain in neck and head, achy body

and limbs, stuffy nose, coarse voice, cough with phlegm, white tongue with oily

look, floating pulse.

(2) infectious diseases, diarrhea, malaria,  boils in early stages with the above

symptoms.

Composition:

ren shen 12 g, jiang huo12 g, du huo12 g, chai hu 12 g, qian hu 12 g, sheng jiang 12 g,

chuan xiong12 g, zhi ke 12 g, jie geng 12 g, fu ling 12 g, gan cao 6 g, bo he 6 g.

Boil with water and make into decoction. Drink while warm.

Or use above proportion to make into powder. First rinse herb with water. Dry in low temperature. Grind into fine powder.

Daily dosage of powder:  30  grams.
 

人參敗毒散（太 平惠民和劑局方）

功 能 ﹕ 益氣解表，散風袪濕。.
主 治﹕

1．外感風寒濕邪﹕證見惡寒發熱無汗，頭項強痛，肢體煩疼，胸膈滿悶，

鼻塞聲重，咳嗽有痰，舌苔白膩，脈浮。症狀類於流行感冒。

2．時疫、痢疾、瘧疾、瘡瘍等初起有上述表證者﹔症狀類於病毒感染。

 組 成﹕

人 參 三錢, 薑活三 錢, 獨 活三 錢, 柴 胡 三錢, 前 胡三 錢, 生 姜 三錢.,

 川 芎 三錢, 枳 殼 三錢, 桔 梗 三錢, 茯 苓 三錢, 甘 草 錢半﹐ 薄荷半 錢。

水煎。溫服。

加减法 ：

如病人正氣足：去 人參，加 荊芥 二錢半，防 風 二錢半。
用於治療痢疾：加 黃蓮 二錢半， 木香  三錢。
用於治療瘧疾：加 黃芩 二錢半， 檳榔 二錢半， 草果 二錢 ，
用於治療瘡腫毒：加 金銀花 四 錢， 連翹 三錢。

亦可用以上比例。將藥先洗淨。低溫烘乾 。共研細末。

每日量﹕八錢。

註﹕一錢等於3.75克 (舊制)
