si shen wan 四神丸 translated by: Joe Hing kwok Chu 按此看中文 Name of Formula: si shen wan 《source: Zheng Zhi Zhun Sheng 》 Application: tonic for correcting spleen deficient and kidney deficient. For diarrhea due to spleen and kidney deficiency. Constitution of formula: bu gu zhi 4 qian (soak with rice wine overnight and stir fry till dry), wu wei zi 3 qian (stir fry), rou dou kou 2 qian (wrap with flour and bake), wu zhu yu 1 portion (soak with salt water). sheng jiang 8 qian (cut into slices), da zao 100 pieces. Cook sheng jiang and da zao till da zao become mushy. Remove and dicard sheng jiang. Mix with all herbs and grind into paste and make into small pills. Take 7.5 g with salted water before bed time.
